Someone came home from school calling moms attention that shee needed helpmon somethig. Mothers instinc I know right away what its all about. Yeah dad did tried to asked what was wrong but sorry dad at this time she dont want your assistance. :-)
Yup Leina had her 1st period. Marking the calendar April 30th, 2014. She did great, did not panic even she 1st noticed it in school during their fundraising for "Hoop for the hearts".
I cant handle it better than myself. Hope she wont having pain like other women. Hope she will be after me having no pain except the feeling that its wet down there.
We'll see what we are going to go through this stage. Wish us luck.
Not baby anymore
Leona's 10 year check up
Last August 24th Leona had her regular yearly check up. She weight 110 lbs thats 10 lbs more my weigjt when I got here in America. This is not good for Leona she is 10 years old and weigh that high. She is obese according to BMI. But to think about she is a tall girl. They did cholesterol check on her and found out her cholesterol was high 211. Her pedia suggested to do fasting and have her blood work done to get more acurate result and he added to do blood work for her thyroid.
A week after result came and yeah her cholesterol is high 194 and showing a problem on her thyroid. This is a wake up call for me and to everyone in the familyto be more cautious. With regards to Leona she just need to do excercise in order to lose weight. This will help her cholesterol go down. In six months they will do more test to see where shes at that time.
Leona's yearly check up gives us a lesson to be healthy and to lose weight...we all need to lose weight. We'll see where we at after 6 months.
Update on my leona
Leona turn 10 last December 16th. We had a party in the house for close friends only. She had fun. As our birthday gift we enroll he in a Cabaret class.
Cabaret class is a class where she will learn how to do acting, sing and dancing but this class focused more on their acting. They meet every Tuesday. She love to go to this class. Their final class will be on march 6th. She will sing one of Selena Gomez song the "who says" and she will do a short script where she will be Lucy.
Putting Leona in this class made her especial as she feel like she have this special group that she belongs. I guess we will be putting her in this class again next school year. Anyway it is good for her to have extra curricular.
Leona's 9th Birthday
For dinner per her choice we went to friendlys, and the waitress got a chance to sing a happy birthday to her. Once we get home she have her 2nd 9th birthday cake with us.
According to her it was once a gain a happy good birthday. So glad to hear this from her. Wow still can't believe my oldest daughter is 9 years old.

Leona will be having her 9th birthday party w/ her friends today. We will be having this party rigtht in my house.
Activities that kids will do in 3 hours:
- Do crafts
- have pizza
- do line dance
- sing a happy birthday and kids will be haivng cup cakes and make their own sundae ice cream
- open presents
- sing karaoke.

CCD Day
It is Saturday but we still gets up early. Angel my younger child needs to go to CCD class. We all don't want to but we have to. here in America, religion class is not part of their school curiculum unlike in Philippines. Lucky if they do their morning prayers before the class starts in the morning. Anyway as parents it is our obligation to bring up our child to God, to believe in God. CCD is one of this obligation for Catholic. It is a 2 year program. At least next year Angel will be going on Sunday morning class. During the 9 o'clock mass they will be dismiss to go to their CCD class. This is more convenient for everyone and fair for her as well. Everyone will be up and get ready for church. The class is only for an hour.
Is Santa real?
Hopefully she will understand and there is no reason why.
Not in the mood
I love my kids but right now they are getting into my nerve. They are so demanding I want this I want that and I want it now. They just have supper now they keep asking me if they can have the dessert. Which we will be having strawberry shortcake. I don't know how I can handle them if I will be staying home for the summer, just for a weekend it already too much for me. They getting big they get worst. I should not complain but right now I am so bitchy feels like I am having my PMS. Oh boy this is not so good. Husband right now is in bed. Trying to stay away from me. He knows once I am not in the mood better get out of my way. I think I better go to bed soon too before I will strangle them.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Today is Thanksgiving and I am going to my auntieDenises house. My dad, sister named Angel and I are all watching the Thanksgiving day parade. Our auntie Denise has 2 dogs maggie is a boring girl and truper is a fun and playful boy.
It will be a fun day. I will be able to see the rest of my family member. Everyone will sit and eat together while sharing stories w/ each other.
Senses of Autumn
In school I made a story about five senses you sense in Autumn. This is what I wrote.
Autumn is a beautiful time of year! I said gazing over the countryside. In the distance I saw spickey seed pods. As I walked across the grass I heard it making a loud crunching noise. The cool breezy wind felt nice on my skin. I gasped when I saw someone trying to break my beautiful scarecrow I made all by myself. So I ran up to the crow and it got so scared that it flew away. I enjoyed the smell of apple pie my mom just made. I closed my eyes and could almost taste that scrumptious apple pie.
Why I Started A Blog
I started a blog because I saw my mom doing her blog on her computer so it made me wonder if I could start a blog. Since I could my mom made my blog and i knew starting a blog is a good thing because it will help me with writing in school. I am in 3rd grade so I don`t know that much. My teacher`s name is Mrs.Baer. So you will know more about me I will tell you more about me. My favorite t.v show is Wizards Of Waverly Place and my favorite things to do are art and music. That is all for now.
Generations Gap
I have been blogging since 2008. I enjoyed doing this. I can post and share to everyone what’s on my mind. After couple months of posting my blog end up w/ a rank. And I start making money. My oldest daughter saw what I am doing. This motivates her to convince me to let her have her own blog. The only way I can let her is to have us a joint account. She is below 18. I know and I believe that writing her thoughts in blog is a good practice for her. Anyway she is like her father who loves to write. She is the little writer in the family. Having a joint account I can monitor what she is writing and monitor who are her visitors. Also I will be able to read as well comments.
